After all, I don’t endorse a lot of candidates — the notable exceptions being my late husband, Senator Lloyd Bentsen, and our nephew, Representative Ken Bentsen.
But Bill White’s in a league of his own. Having known him and his wife Andrea for years, I can tell you firsthand what an intelligent, thoughtful and charming couple they are.
That’s why I’m pleased — but not surprised — that Bill’s been doing so well in the polls lately. More and more Texans are realizing he’s the right man at the right time to serve the people of our great state, just as Lloyd did as senator.
