If I told you that someone is going to harm one of your loved ones it is very likely some would preemptively hurt that someone. If I told you that someone has the power to change the lifestyle every American expects in a negative manner many are likely, by all means necessary, to take that someone out.
We are in an economic crisis. There is a particular group of blue collar workers that have never been themselves in an economic morass we are now in. While a large percentage of minorities have seen this despair cyclically (many a time as being the last hired they become the first fired,) and have developed a perverse coping mechanism, this particular group of blue collar workers are in full despair.
Right Wing talking points that subliminally make our “culturally different” president being the root of these problems while baseless is easy to take hold in despaired mind. When the Right Wing claims our President does not share our values it creates a carnal response. When the Right Wing claims our President is a socialist, communist, or fascist (though they are mutually exclusive), it creates a carnal response. When our President’s citizenship is questioned a normal response to the uninformed is that we have elected a foreigner who is attempting to change our values. Interesting enough John McCain, born in the Republic of Panama, citizenship was never questioned.
The Right Wing knows exactly what they are doing. While I am sure most do not desire physical harm to the President and Progressives, they want enough chaos to delegitimize him in the minds of many. Moreover, they want most to believe that the President is really dangerous for our country.
In this light one must ask; “In the delusional mind, how do you save the country?” Right Wing Rhetoric is a spark away from lighting the fuel of violence.

Question to Broun: Who’s going to shoot President Obama? By Blake Aued – Athens Banner-Herald

At Rep. Paul Broun’s town hall meeting on Tuesday, the Athens congressman asked who had driven the farthest to be there and let the winner ask the first question.
We couldn’t hear the question in the back of the packed Oglethorpe County Commission chamber, but whatever it was, it got a big laugh. According to an outraged commenter on the article, the question was, when is someone going to shoot Obama?
I’ve asked Team Broun whether that was indeed the question and haven’t gotten an answer. The commenter accurately described the questioner and the circumstances, and no one has disputed his account.
Update: Broun’s press secretary, Jessica Morris, confirmed that the question was indeed, who is going to shoot Obama? “Obviously, the question was inappropriate, so Congressman Broun moved on,” she said.
Here was Broun’s response:
The thing is, I know there’s a lot of frustration with this president. We’re going to have an election next year. Hopefully, we’ll elect somebody that’s going to be a conservative, limited-government president that will take a smaller, who will sign a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare.
He then segued into Republicans’ budget proposal.
