There was a time when I lived in New York City. That was a very, very long time ago, though. It seems like almost lifetimes ago! I was young and just out of college. I had so much fun, but when it came time to settle down, I moved back closer to home. Whilst I lived in New York with my roommate, we lived in something similar to these apartments for rent and we literally had memories that I will never forget. But as I wanted to settle down and have a family, I wanted to build these roots somewhere else. It broke my heart when I left and I always try to go back when I can. Every now and then though, I try to get back in touch with my former roommate, who still lives there. I took one of those trips a few weeks ago and when I was there, we decided to go and see Rent. We’d seen it back when it first started out and it was so great! There couldn’t have been a better idea for a roommate reunion!
When I was online doing some research on getting us some discount tickets, I found some info on Miracle-Ear. I’d been thinking about getting hearing aids for a while now and decided now would be as good of a time as ever before I go on this exciting trip and see this amazing play.
It was so nice to be back in the city with her! Being there and with her always makes me feel so young, like we’re still in our 20s like when we used to live together!
