What a week it was, America!  Our show today will focus on Tuesday’s election results, in particular two intriguing decisions made by voters.  First, we talk about the recall and defeat of Arizona’s most polarizing, and arguably most corrupt State Senator Russell Pearce.   We’ll talk to Bart Turner and Chad Snow, both moderate Republicans from Phoenix, AZ who can tell us about the trans-partisan movement that led to Pearce’s replacement with a moderate Republican education innovator, Jerry Lewis.  We love trans-partisan movements at the Coffee Party, and during the show we’ll discuss how the Coffee Party was indirectly involved in this historic, first-ever recall of an Arizona state legislator.

In the second hour well talk to Lauren Michelle Kinsey, a progressive Democrat from Columbus, OH.  Lauren is active in the Occupy Columbus movement, and she can tell us about the now-famous triumph for the people of Ohio — the repealing of the anti-union law championed by Ohio’s unpopular governor John Kasich, and the restoring the right to collective bargaining for Ohio’s public employees.

We’ll also talk about the larger picture.  What do these results mean for America?  Do you live in one of the more than 30 states that held elections on Tuesday?  If so, please call in.

We’d love to hear more about the same-day voter registration victory reaffirmed in Maine.  We’d love to hear more about the surprise defeat of the personhood-at-conception amendment in Mississippi, or the surprise victory of Democratic governor Steve Beshear in Kentucky.  What do we make of the shellacking delivered by American voters this past Tuesday?

Eric Byler will join us to offer his take on the narrative of Republican overreach.  Could it be that voters are beginning to reject extreme political tactics and extreme policies that are far outside the mainstream of the America, even if they are often touted on TV?  How could this be?  Byler believes that the America that exists outside of our TV sets is the real America, and social media technology is the reason why we’re finally starting to acknowledge it.

Is the 99% finally starting wake up, do their homework, and make decisions based on facts and evidence rather than the noise engineered by the 1% and their media empires?

We have a wonderful panel that will be discussing all these issues. Please all in and be part of the dialog.

Do you want to be heard? Do you want to be part of what is going on in America? Do you need to get something off your chest? Call into POLITICS DONE RIGHT (646) 929-2495 and/or listen in from 12 noon to 2 PM central (1 pm to 3 pm eastern) TODAY.
