Elizabeth Lauten, GONE!
A few days ago Elizabeth Lauten, the communications director for Representative Stephen Fincher (R-TN), made some rather hateful statements about President Obama’s daughters Sasha and Malia. The full story was blogged here. A firestorm erupted over an adult GOP operative so publicly demeaning the two minors.
Well it seems that the pressure exerted from many avenues succeeded. Elizabeth Lauten has resigned.

Elizabeth Lauten, the communications director for Rep. Stephen Fincher (R-Tenn.), resigned Monday following a Facebook post that criticized Malia and Sasha Obama’s appearance at the annual White House turkey pardon ceremony, according to NBC News.
One hopes this woman will never hold a position again where her silly commentary gets traction because of who she is.
